The Piqua Public Library was filled with energy and music on Wednesday, March 5, as the Piqua High School Jazz Band kicked off the 2025 Library Lounge Series with a fantastic performance titled “Sounds of America.”

Under the direction of Wyatt Heinz, Director of Bands for Piqua City Schools, the talented student musicians treated the audience to a lively and diverse set of jazz selections. The library lobby served as a perfect venue for this spirited start to the series, and the performance was met with enthusiastic applause.

A big thank-you goes out to the Friends of the Piqua Public Library for presenting the event, and to the PHS Jazz Band for sharing their music with the community.
